My story
I was born and raised in Smara, in the Moroccan Sahara, where hospitality is not a profession but a way of life. For more than 20 years I have worked in Moroccan tourism, and today I hold an official city and circuit tour guide licence, No. 3489, issued by Morocco’s Ministry of Tourism.
Morocco Private Driver grew out of the questions travellers kept asking me: who will meet us at the airport, can we trust the driver, and what exactly is included in the price? My answer was a small, personal service where every trip is planned by a licensed guide and every price is agreed in writing before you travel.
I work with experienced, professional drivers based in Morocco’s main tourist cities, people I know and trust, and with vehicles ranging from a Dacia Duster in Laayoune to Mercedes vans and a 17-seat Volkswagen minibus. Wherever your journey starts, a local driver is close by.
I plan each journey myself. I listen to what you want to see and how you like to travel, often send two or three route options laid out day by day, and once you have booked I create a WhatsApp group with you and your driver, so you always have a direct line to us.
The south is my home. Laayoune, Smara, Tarfaya and Dakhla are places few drivers know well; for me they are family landscapes, and sharing them with travellers is one of the great joys of my work.
